 I  Theodore Kaltsas is the responsible coordinator, editor and owner of this web page.
Finally, my dream came true! A web page for the village I was born in. The place where I lived the fewest years of my life. The village, which I love and continue to cherish! Perista. In the beginning it was a dream, which became an idea, and finally a reality.  
This page is becoming a reality by the pride and the effort from people who show their true love and enthusiasm to promote our village PERISTA on the web
I want to extent my warmest heartfelt thanks to everyone that took part in this dream come true. I thank them for their great interest and their ideas. Everyone that was asked for his or her involvement did so without a second thought.

I would like to express my deepest Gratitute to the great Historian, Poet, Folklore writer and a member of the Greek judiciary system , a native son of Perista, Athanasios N. Papathanasopoulos for his book " PERISTA NAFPAKTIAS- LAOGRAFIKA" that gave me the most valuable information and the initiative for the creation of these pages.

I  Cordially thank the secretary of Perista's Association in America " AGIOS ATHANASIOS" Thanasi G.Papathanasopoulos for his valuable information from the society's archives. Special Thanks to my brother Yiannis Kaltsas who helped make the corrections and custody of this text and indications.  I would like to thank our friend and colleague from New York Kosta Kaganis for his rich photographic materials he gave for us to use on our web pages. very touching, the concern to their roots is a great gift from God. May Agios Athanasios be with them all the way to show light on their footsteps. All of them are not born in Perista, they are not even born in Greece Their Peristian Flame and Roumeli soul talks straight to our hearts. For all of us who were born in Perista this touches our emotions in a very special way. The primary reason of this web page is to let more people, Hellenes and friends of Hellas learn about our village PERISTA but also to bring back to all of us who were born there the freshness, the imperious glance of nature, the little houses on the mountain, the springs and the beautiful skies back to our memories. We want to be able to walk once again the streets and alleys of our little village with the help of this web page.  Another reason is for the next generations to learn their roots, be active and contribute back to our Society and Village whenever there is a need.

In this page anyone can post his/her message about Perista without any cost. Text, pictures or whatever has to do with Perista is Welcome.
Dear friends and patriots, these web pages took a lot of hard work and great effort, but it was done with plenty of love and passion within everyone that was involved in making this possible.
My wish to all of you is that you enjoy our hard work and hope you find it of great interest.

  I dedicate these pages in memory of my mother Anna Kaltsas who taught me to love, appreciate and respect. I contributed to our village Perista and is not looking to make any money.

This is also dedicated to the elderly of Perista and especially to my teacher Aristoteli Antoniou from Karditsa that I would never forget as long as I live.
